School COVID-19 Plan  

The school COVID-19 Plan may evolve and be refined throughout the school year to ensure our school stays open.

Goals of Morgan Academy: 

We believe that students need to be on campus and in school as much as possible for their intellectual and emotional well-being; therefore, we strive with goals to ensure that Morgan Academy remains open.

• Keeping students, faculty, and staff safe.

   

• Being back together as a school community.

   

• Ensuring the integrity of our curriculum and learning environment.

Guidelines for Attendance:

• If your child or a household member of your family tests positive for Covid, you are required to notify the office immediately.

• If your child tests positive for Covid, they must stay out of school for five days. They may return to school on the sixth day if they no longer have symptoms. The student will then be required to wear a mask for an additional five days.

• If a household member of your family tests positive, your student will still be allowed to come to school if he/she is not showing any signs or symptoms.

• If your child tests positive for Covid, any siblings are allowed to still attend school if they are not showing any signs or symptoms.
